Software Quality Assurance Manager (MGR)

Job Type: Remote + Contract

Responsibilities for a Software Quality Assurance Manager:

· Routinely communicate status (progress, tasks, problems encountered and time remaining to complete) to the team and stakeholders.

· Serve as a technical functional manager, providing guidance on technical testing strategies and mentor team members.

· Develop team’s knowledge of quality assurance best practices

· Improve automation test case coverage

Required Skills as a Software Quality Assurance Manager:

· 3+ years of experience managing quality in a compliance related field (clinical, finance)

· 8+ years of extending standardized test framework in Java and testing web applications with Selenium

· 5+ years of experience testing mobile applications, REST API Testing and CI/CD experience

· Experience developing SMART goals

· Experience managing distributed team with offshore talent

· Working knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL DBs (MongoDB)

· Experience with leading and participating in QE automation architecture and design discussions

· Experience developing standards for testing framework (including keyword driven, data driven, coding standards, naming standards)

· Experience with JIRA for tracking user stories and defects

· Ability to work cross-functionally with high attention to detail

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and communication skills (written and verbal)

· BS/BA in related technical field (or equivalent)

Pay: From $70.00 per hour
