Cimarron is seeking Software Test & Verification Integration Engineers to support Displays and Controls (DAC) and the Guidance, Navigation, Control and Propulsion (GNCP) groups for the Orion program in either Houston, TX, Denver, CO, or Sunnyvale, CA. The opportunity for remote work may be available for this position (i.e. work from home)!

Key Duties:

• Be responsible for developing test procedures, scripts, and test tools for flight software verification, including the execution of integration tests to validate hardware-to-software interfaces, software-to-software interfaces, and functionality.
• Analyze the hardware, software, and system requirements and implementation.
• Develop and test code utilizing Model Based Design approaches.
• Establish development and test tools.
• Identify and resolve anomalies during tests on various software-level and system-level platforms.
• identify and implement the required software modifications and participate in technical reviews/audits of software products.
• Provide hands-on development of verification success criteria.
• Perform software engineering in all phases of the software lifecycle following the program Software Development Plan (SDP), including requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, integration, and support to formal test/delivery for the Orion Spacecraft flight software and spacecraft testing.
• Work with flight software development peers, subject matter experts, database developers, and test engineers.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
• 2 or more years of experience developing or testing real-time embedded software.
• Python experience.
• Verification and/or development experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of full software lifecycle concepts, including requirement definition and flow down, strong development skills and test concepts, and methodology.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience with hardware and software integration.
• Familiarity with spacecraft subsystems, hardware, telemetry, and command & control.
• Experience with DOORS, Google Test, Python, Greenhills Integriryt OS, and/or Linux/Posix.
