Software Test Engineer
TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Required
Ops Tech Alliance (OTA) has an immediate opening on a prime contract for a Software Test Engineer. In order to qualify you must possess the knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience to test various software and applications. The tester will be part of the team that provides solutions for problems that deal with internet technologies and applications, cyber fundamentals, encryption, digital footprint, and internet vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities
- Test various software and applications on both PC and mobile emulators
- Create test reports and procedures, as well as document release notes
- Document defects, new features and enhancements
- Functional, Integration, and Regression Testing
- Communicate with both customer and team members on status of activities
Required Skills:
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- 5 years of software testing experience
- Mobile testing (with Android OS)
- JIRA
- Windows Operating System
- Linux (Ubuntu) Operating System
- Linux Command Line
- Android Operating System
- Android Chat Applications
- Virtual Machines/Emulators
- Browsers: FireFox, Chrome, TOR
- Automated Testing
Desired Skills:
- Confluence
- VMWare
- Android SDK
- System hardening
- Security testing (system and browser)
- Scripting (in bash or python)
- Git
