The Delta Gamma chapter at the University of Oregon will have approximately 45 women living in the house this fall. We are seeking a dynamic full-time House Director to start in July 2023. The position requires overnight stays when the women are in residence. The total compensation for this position includes private living quarters with full bath, utilities, cable, internet/Wi-Fi, reserved parking space, chef prepared meals Monday - Thursday during the academic year, paid university recognized holidays, paid time off and medical, dental and vision insurance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year demonstrated house director experience and strong organizational and communication skills. .
Job duties include but not limited to:
* Ensures a safe, comfortable and productive environment for collegians.
* Coordinates routine maintenance and manages multiple service providers.
* Communicates house maintenance issues to the Asst. Director for Managed Properties and the property management company.
* Notifies the Asst. Director for Managed Properties and the property management company of major repairs with estimates that need to be done.
* Immediately reports all damages which require insurance claims to the Asst. Director for Managed Properties.
* Creates strategy for the long-term care and upkeep of the facility with the Asst. Director for Managed Properties.
* Communicates any unusual trends and/or problems within the chapter to the Chapter Adviser.
* Communicates professionally and regularly with Chapter President and Director of House Management.
* Maintains and is responsible for a credit card for small expenses.
* Adheres to campus, Fraternity and Chapter policies and rules.
* Observes Delta Gamma policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Minimum one year of House Director experience.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Ability to maintain confidential information.
* Ability to perform basic functions in Microsoft Word, Excel and the ability to scan and email documents.
* Positive solution-focused attitude.
* Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with students, parents, alumnae, service providers and community resources.
* Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work with college-age women. Must be patience and the ability to pivot.
* Ability to climb up and down several flights of stairs and lift 25 pounds if necessary.
* A valid driver’s license preferred.

Time Commitment :
The House Director must be onsite, overnight, seven nights per week except when prior arrangements have been made for other adult supervision.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
