Farm + Feed Sous Chef
Farm + Feed is a new post-apocalyptic 8,000SF gaming, geek bar and restaurant in the Shops at Legacy. Serving a culturally intergalactic fresh mix of street foods and gaming classics, along with craft cocktails and brews, all while you play video and tabletop games, watch your favorite streams, partake in friendly tournaments and events and maybe occasionally dress up like Sauron. Whether you are a Rainbow road champ, Jungler, Wow-addict, Chessmaster, Scrabble snob, MTG pack destroyer or a level one bard that still hasn’t left the inn, this place is for you. Come out and help create the friendly community and place that we’ve all wanted, but never had!
Sous Chef Requirements:
2+ years sous chef experience at a large high volume, food forward, restaurant and bar.
Very comfortable with prep and line.
Ability to work weekends and late nights
You strive for perfection, and when mistakes happen, you learn, teach, improve and move forward.
You are obsessed with cleanliness and organization.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead by doing and manage by example
Creatively work within existing developed menu and recipe foundation to constantly push our food offerings to exciting new level
Work with Executive Chef to identify menu items that aren't working and edit or replace
Own the high organization and foundational tasks
Hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating and working alongside your team.
Transparent and fair communication with all team members
Taking care of yourself and your team
Compensation:
- $23/hr- $28/hr
- Health/dental/vision after 30 days

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
