Peak Workforce Solutions is looking a professional, well-rounded, and motivated Sous Chef for our client in Asheville, NC
This is a Direct Hire position
Salary Range: $50,000-$53,000 annually
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and kitchen staff
- Assist Executive Chef in creating and maintaining all menus and recipes offered in our various a la carte dining outlets and banquet facilities
- Train, develop and retain qualified kitchen employees
- Be available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends, holidays and extended work schedules
- Perform daily line checks for purposes of quality, par levels and freshness
- Ensure compliance of sanitation and food safety guidelines
This list is not all inclusive, additional duties may be assigned as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years foodservice experience in professional, detail-oriented kitchens
- Exposure to multiple styles of service i.e., Fine Dining, Casual, Breakfast Cookery, Banquet, Buffet
- At least 2 years’ experience in a structured fine dining establishment
