As Needed Educator for Gabie Stem/Agriculture field trip bus.

Would you like to earn extra money?

Are you able to work from the approx. hours of 8-1 2-3 days a week?
Do you have transportation to work around the Miami area at different schools and daycares?
Are you able to memorize a 15 minute presentation and present to kids ages 3-13 speaking clearly in English?

G.A.B.I.E. is a mobile, digital, interactive bus that comes to your school, a classroom on wheels, gives students a new way to learn all about Florida’s Agriculture. We have 10 stations on the bus where they can touch a crop, read about it and watch it on our TV’s. One of our two outside stations is where students will learn about the regions and the climates and how plants grow, each receiving a seed/soil to grow their own plant and watch grow in the classroom. This exploration will not only teach the students how
to survive and prosper but also to eat healthier. We have the students plant their plants in milk cartons from the cafeteria. This teaches the students to up-cycle, re-purpose and recycle.
