Equivalent ExperienceDescription:
- Support the SOX Director with design , documentation and testing of the Company’s internal controls over financial reporting to ensure compliance with COSO standards and appropriate coverage of the SOX Program
- Communicate information with the SOX Director, transferring knowledge and providing examples of high-quality documentation, as appropriate
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with the management teams of all major functional areas as well as external auditor, ensuring a deep understanding of key risks and processes of the organization
- Coordinate with each process and control owners on all SOX-related activities, including walkthroughs, testing and remediation activities
- Assist the SOX Director in performing assessments of the SOX impact of new initiatives, including system implementations/updates, new accounting standards and various special projects
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Highly organized and motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment
- Understanding of common SaaS applications supporting financial business processes (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce)
Education & Experience:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business, or other relevant degree
- 1-3+ years relevant work experience in SOX compliance, internal or external audit
- CPA/CIA or a willingness to pursue professional qualification
- Big 4 experience is a plus
