Salary is per TESPA contract

Qualifications:
Must have an Associate Degree, two years of college, or passed rigorous standards
Experience with/understanding of student(s) with special needs
Ability to follow through with Evidenced Based Practices with fidelity
Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations, including student behavioral or health challenges
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proven ability to establish good rapport with children, adolescents, and adults
Responsibilities:
Follows direction of Program Teacher and other professional staff who support the program
Provide direct support to individual and groups of students in all school settings, including assistance with daily living tasks such as eating, grooming, and toileting as needed
Promote independence while maintaining safety for all program students
Communicate with parents only as assigned by program teacher
Maintain confidentiality regarding student information
Additional duties appropriate to the position as assigned
