Job description
Green Mountain Union High School is looking for a licensed special education teacher to work with middle school and high school students for the 2023-2024 school year. Responsibilities include: Providing instruction to students with disabilities individually, in groups, or within their classroom. Collaborating with teachers to identify best practices for differentiated instruction, designing and implementing Individual Education Plans for students. In addition, the Special Education Case Manager shall collect, review, update and securely store student files, convene and facilitate IEP and special education comprehensive evaluation meetings and reviews. Experience developing post-secondary transition plans, planning behavior assessments, specialized reading, writing or math instruction as well as familiarity with technology/digital learning and co-teaching preferred.
