POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees and manages all projects as directed by Executive Director. Will work to ensure Brook Heights projects and Tax Credit projects are progressing. Will establish and maintain communication with segment representatives on their perspective projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works to ensure renovations are completed in a timely manner.
- Will develop and write scopes of work for projects.
- Will provide written and oral reports to Board of Commissioners, Tribal Council, Contractors, Engineers, and Segment Representatives.
- Will work closely with contracting to ensure scopes of work are written to suit projects.
- Will obtain bids and complete bid work.
- Will work with environmental inspector and realty departments.
- Will work with Tax Credit department to ensure sewer, roads, and infrastructure projects are completed in a timely manner.
- Will identify funding sources via HUD/Tax Credit Partnerships/Tribal Funds.
- Will meet with segment representatives on a regular basis to discuss projects and progress.
- Will ensure contractors match scope of work for projects.
- Will work closely with maintenance and modernization managers.

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:
- The requirement for managing others is needed.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of construction
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
Must pass Federal, State, and Tribal background check.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
Must possess a current North Dakota Driver’s License.
(2) year associate degree in building construction or (5) years of work experience in related field.
Must be punctual and have regular attendance during scheduled working hours.
Must maintain and organize a functional work area to obtain the best possible workflow.
Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Must have good customer service skills.
Must adhere to all FBHA personnel policies and procedures.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Unless otherwise properly approved, the normal schedule of hours is from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Will drive daily to job sites throughout the reservation.
- Will maintain office space at FBHA main office.
