What you will be doing

Under general direction of the Manager, GPO Contract Operations will be responsible for managing GPO contractual documents and projects. This position will be accountable for the collection, maintenance, and reporting of contract details throughout the lifecycle of the contract, the development and execution of GPO Contract Operations specific projects, and serve as a liaison with Corporate Accounts, operations, finance, and legal teams to provide support with strategic business development initiatives.
1.Create, maintain and enhance marketing documents and training materials utilized for contract lifecycle management, support, and execution.
2.Work closely with upstream and downstream sales teams to assist in the oversight of the implementation of contracting and service opportunities that relate to the specialty GPOs and further the company’s overall business intent.
3.Manage a high volume of contract documents through their lifecycle post execution and ongoing maintenance.
4.Collect, maintain, and report contract details obtained from contractual documents and develop standard reporting to support.
5.Lead a variety of scheduled and unscheduled projects occurring in the department at any given time.
6.Act as a point of contact for the GPO Operations team and other internal stakeholders; providing support and exceptional communication in regards to contract documents, details, and reporting.
7.Assist with the operational management of GPO Contract Operations by leading changes in operating procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of all GPO administrative operations.
8.Responsible for internal communication regarding contracts, including managing and communicating status, supporting the legal team, and general GPO communication.
9.Performs related duties as assigned by the Manager, GPO Contract Operations
10.Travel as required to understand /assist with the demands of GPO Operations to manage meetings and to support customer relationships through exceptional deliverable execution.
This position requires completion of a four-year bachelor’s degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. It also requires two – three years of contract administration and operations experience. This individual should have experience creating, implementing and managing processes to ensure department/company goals are met. In addition, ability to understand contractual terms and conditions is a plus. The Specialist, GPO Contract Administration should possess a strong knowledge of business communication and the importance of strong customer relationships. This individual must be innovative, have strong leadership and decision making abilities, excellent communication and time-management skills, as well as the ability to successfully execute multiple tasks at the same time. This individual must work effectively independently and extremely well in a team environment to achieve the company’s overall business intent, mission and goals.

This individual must be innovative, have strong leadership and decision making abilities, excellent communication and time-management skills, as well as the ability to successfully execute multiple tasks at the same time. This individual must work effectively independently and extremely well in a team environment to achieve the company’s overall business intent, mission and goals.

  • This Salary Range reflects a National Average for this job. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
