RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage eight, 3rd party warehouses
- American, Crystal, Cape Fear, Draffen, Gateway, Inland Star, Linden, Palmer
- Interface with warehouses and plants with Logistic support
Complaints
- Interfaces with Business Lines on Logistic complaints
- Logistics Contact for Chemtrec – Deter incidents
Claims
- Manage loss and damage claim with logistic vendors for 5 Business Lines: Coating Additives, Comfort and Insulation, Interface and Performance, Crosslinkers and Care Solutions
Carrier Selection support
- Work with the BL and Logistic Procurement on best lane portfolio
- Work with Logistic Procurement and Business Lines to manage cost and service levels for carriers.
Winter Care program
- Manages Winer Care program for 5 Business Lines and 8, 3rd Party warehouses
BL support
- Interface with Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Sales & Marketing as the Logistic Operations contact, to help insure highest level of customer satisfaction
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science, Business Management, Supply Chain/Operations Management Required
- 5 years of comparable experience in Logistics/SCM/Warehouse Management
- Experience in the freight industry, carrier & warehouse methodology and its monitoring (preferred)
- Excellent analytic skills, communication skills
- Experienced in SAP, MS office, and CRM tools
- Knowledge of DOT requirements
$77,900 - $132,400 per year (salary to be determined by geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
