What we’re looking for in you

Required:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field from an accredited program
• Current Speech Language Pathology licensure in the States of Minnesota & Wisconsin. If both licenses are not present upon hire, must have at least one licensure from either MN or WI and must obtain alternate state within 6 weeks of hire.
• Must have a vehicle with auto insurance and a valid driver’s license and meet all criteria required under Lakeview’s Automobile Liability Guidelines.
• Current BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
• CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) through ASHA (American Speech-Language Hearing Association) within 18 months of hire

The skills/experience you bring as a Speech Language Pathologist

Preferred:

• 1+ year of speech therapy experience
• Video swallow experience

The purpose of the Speech Language Pathologist role

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will assess, plan, organize and participate in rehabilitative programs that improve speech, language, cognitive and swallow function of patients suffering from diseases or injury. This position will include inpatient, outpatient care areas and the opportunity to help serve homecare if desired. This position will provide speech therapy services within the St. Croix Valley and Western WI (will include weekend on-call, no more than 1 weekend/month and 1-2 holidays/year).
