Job description

• The individual in this position must have strong technical knowledge of virtual machines (IaaS), (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).
• Ability to handle the L2 and L3 issues on Azure Windows VMs
• Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Azure Windows VMs.
• Installing or upgrading Azure Windows VMs.
• Should have knowledge on Network components – VNETs. Subnets, NSG/ASG
• Providing technical support for Azure cloud end users.
• Should have good experience in PowerShell
• Should have knowledge about Azure Compute, Storage and Networking, Monitoring
• Supporting existing and new application infrastructure in Public cloud
• Maintaining server architecture security and creating system backups.
• New VM creation, application setup and security compliance (Hardening or VA)
• Application & DB backup, replication & restoration drills
• Cloud asset, resource management
• Cloud DR setup & drills
• Knowledge in SQL DBA related activities like performance tuning, backup, restore etc.
• Knowledge in provisioning/configuration Azure SQL PaaS DBs,SQL and No-SQL DB

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $43,312.73 - $95,129.34 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Redmond, WA 98053: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
