Encore Technologies is seeking a Sr. BI Analyst to be responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of business custom and standard reports using SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI and Cognos BI Applications. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will be conduit between the BI customers and BI Team focusing on, but not limited to, production support and new report creation.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the implementation of SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including report requirements gathering, report creation and Quality Testing, User Acceptance Testing all new reporting
• Provide support for development of SAP SAC, Planning, Cognos BI applications, PowerBI and data warehouse
• Provide support for BI, namely data troubleshooting, report modifications and other issues that may arise related to reporting and data quality
• Support the BA or Project Manager in the execution of projects
• Participate in process flow analysis and process redesign with IT and business
• Provide support as it relates to Cognos and SAC specifically but not exclusively reporting and access
• Provide data analysis in support of user requirements or problems as they relate to BI environment
• Prepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, workflow analysis, user guides, and functional specification documents
• Support internal customers and BI Team in investigation of data issues, working with business and source system application owners to identify root cause
• Troubleshoot and research data anomalies and recommend/implement corrective actions
• Perform job duties in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
• Create and maintain documentation for existing architecture, data dictionaries, future data warehouse architecture and business intelligence reporting

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• 5+ years related experience as Business Intelligence Analyst
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud preferred
• Experience working in Power BI preferred
• Experience working in IBM Cognos Framework Manager & Report Studio a plus
• Experience working in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio a plus
• Experience developing in SAP ABAP a plus
• Experience working with SAP HANA a plus
• Knowledge of data governance, data management, data modeling, data cleansing, data extraction and transformation, data analysis, data migration, data integration and data mapping
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to clearly articulate pros and cons of various technologies and platforms
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing the solution
• Exhibit patience with other associates
• Ability to provide accurate estimates for tasks and project activity

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
