Reporting to the Vice President of Defense and Space, Original Equipment Customer Business Team, the candidate will be a strong, dynamic, and experienced leader responsible for operational excellence for a $1.5B business segment. You will lead a cross-functional core team in pursuit of improved business results for cost and schedule attainment, order-to-cash achievement, working capital improvement, delivery past due reduction, and other critical operational execution areas.
The successful candidate should have the proven ability to utilize Honeywell tools, data, and processes to interrogate, draw conclusions from, and lead the development of action plans in a matrix environment supporting a multi-product, multi-site business.
This role has broad executive engagement and will interface with Honeywell Defense & Space executive management, all Aerospace GBE Product Line Leaders and critical Honeywell customers as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Build organizational excellence through the development, maturation and integration of cost and schedule management elements (EAC, EVMS, supplier claims, assertions, dispute resolution)
- Improve working capital through higher billings, improved shipments, and improved accounts receivable
- Serve as Integrated Supply Chain focal for all issues related to past-due delivery reduction, month-over-month shipment issues, sourcing coordination (tactical and strategic), and process holds elimination
- Develop and implement systemic and sustainable action plans, including process monitoring
- Develop and implement tool improvements targeted at management reporting and day-to-day utilization
- Identify, assess, acquire, and develop the critical skills and behaviors for operational excellence
- Establish the right goals, metrics, rewards and recognition aligned to a high performing organization
- Provide leadership and coaching to matrix reports to achieve business objectives
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree required in Business or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of engineering, business management or operations experience.
- Active, or ability to obtain, TS/SCI Clearance
- Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
