The Sr. Implementation Specialist position has a high proficiency in the translation of business problems into solutions leveraging the out of the box configuration capabilities of Ordway as well as technical solutions based on Ordway APIs, data exports and loads, and advanced configuration. Should always ensure that the solution provided is delivering business value. Ideal candidate has 5 years of experience in implementing and integrating software solutions, ideally in Billing, CRM or ERP domains.

The Sr. Implementation Specialist manages multiple complex tasks and priorities while maintaining the ability to engage with team members and clients in a professional and timely manner. He/she maintains control during challenging project situations and exudes confidence to other team members and the client. Communicates professionally and in the correct business form with team members and clients.

Will serve as the primary functional and technical lead for projects.

Through individual actions and on a day-to-day basis, the Sr. Implementation Specialist will demonstrate a clear understanding of the Implementation Methodology, and Client Onboarding Process. This means breaking down business problems and use cases, into solutions satisfied by the out-of-the-box configuration and tools offered within the Ordway platform.

Essential Duties

    • Lead several, concurrent projects, while providing outstanding implementation services to Ordway customers globally (10/10).
    • Translate customer business requirements and use cases into detailed configuration designs, and identify areas of complexity and propose solutions
    • Become a product expert from both a business and technical standpoint.
    • Take ownership and follow through on client issues until resolution.
    • Configure Ordway to fulfill use cases
    • Provide implementation support to customers during project milestones, including Design, Build, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), Cut-Over, and Post-Go-Live.
  • Work closely with engineering and product management teams to advocate for the customer and drive improvements to product functionality.

Minimum Requirements


  • Minimum of 5 years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in an Enterprise Software Implementation project lead position, Enterprise Application Support Engineer position, or in a closely related occupation.
  • Experience in Quote-to-Cash, Payments platforms (Stripe, CardConnect, Authorize.net, PayPal), Accounting software (QuickBooks, Netsuite, FinancialForce, Intacct), or CRM (Salesforce.com, Hubspot) candidates preferred.
  • Experience in following technologies that support SaaS applications is an added advantage: REST API, SOAP API, XML, web services, HTML, Java, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Problem-solving capabilities as well as excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to adjust to the technical level of the audience and explain complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Positive attitude and ability to overcome adversity; and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong desire and ability to continually learn new skills, processes, technologies, and product knowledge. You will learn something new every day!
