Primary Functions:

This position is responsible for leading other agent managers and implementing agent program reporting and communicating method for the agents, facilitating sales and account penetration, as well as developing recruiting programs. This position will determine agents’ growth potential and set goals for each agent to meet.


Basic Qualifications:

A highly effective Sr. Manager, Agent Operations has a broad knowledge of the logistics industry and is able to leverage their knowledge and experience to effectively support a team focused on client relationships. The Sr. Manager, Agent Operations is responsible for monitoring the Agent Team daily and delivering results in the form of growing the Company’s relationships with its most strategically valuable customers.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Implement and Manage New Agent programs
    • Recruiting Program
    • Enhanced Reporting and Communication
    • Account Penetration and Mode Development
  • Manage and direct other Agent Managers
  • Set Growth Plans for Agencies
  • Facilitate onboarding and training
  • Assist agent offices in expanding modes and services.
  • Assist existing agents by working with the Agent Support Team to resolve back-office support issues through research, communication and modification of SOP's, credit, collections, claims, etc.
  • Communicate and orchestrate use of all services and programs offered to agents.
  • Assist in administrative functions within the agent program.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
  • Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 5 years related experience and/or training
  • 8+ years related management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
