Position: SR. MANAGER, Brand Social & Affiliate Partnerships

POSITION SUMMARY

Five Below is the one of the fastest growing national retailers with a growing store footprint and strong momentum in the online space. This growth is driven by an unmatched value proposition and a marketing program communicating this value proposition to its customer base. FiveBelow is hiring for a skilled and motivated Sr.Manager, Brand Social & Affiliate Partnerships to own the strategy and execution of our Affiliate Partnerships program and the Brand Social program. These channels will drive revenue and support the brand by building excitement and buzz around the FiveBelow value proposition. This role will be part of the Digital Marketing team and will report to the VP, Digital Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work cross functionally with external agency and internal stakeholders to launch and scale an Affiliate program to drive efficient eCommerce revenue
• Quarterback organizing stream of content to be pushed out to Affiliate partners to acquire new publishers and generate revenue from existing publishers
• Work with influencers and publishers to generate content in social media and content sites to reach prospective customers and build brand buzz
• Manage and develop brand social strategy for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube to drive brand message and buzz
• Work cross-functionally with Brand Marketing, Digital, Merchandising, and Store teams to secure relevant “in the now” content for social channels
• Partner with Creative to refine Five Below’s content needs for social media platforms. Developing a strong visual personality and style guide for social media – incorporating GIFs, native video, illustration, animation, graphic design, and photography
• Leverage social listening to synthesize ongoing trends, test- and-learn, monitor competitive brands, and report on quantitative findings from social media
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing team to ensure key brand stories are promoted in brand social and affiliate channels in the right form factor relevant to that channel
• Remain highly adaptable, flexible, and organized to pivot content publishing plans
• Syndicate content from content publishers and influencers to bring on site to increase engagement and SEO potential on website

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have 7+ years of previous experience with demonstration of progressively increased responsibility
• Must have experience managing and operating an Affiliate Marketing program
• Adept and familiar with social media platforms and social media influencer dynamics
• Experience working in a retail industry preferred
• Creative thinker that can develop various angles on stories and content that deepen customer’s connection to the brand
• Experience working with Finance and Analytics team to forecast expected performance of programs
• Data driven mindset and approach to monitor performance of media
• Ability to anticipate needs, innovate, adapt and flourish in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude, ability to work with a team to drive projects to completion, and penchant for solving problems
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with MS Excel and/or Google Sheets
