FirstPRO is now accepting resumes for our client, a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, who is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 6-12-month consulting opportunity with their NJ office. This is a WFH/Remote position.

The Senior Project Manager will be working with newly acquired companies to our customer and transition them to the Corporate IT Infrastructure, Security and Architecture. Plans are created and these roles will be responsible for working with project teams both internal and external to complete the migrations needed. Each division will be different due to their as-is environment, but the plan will be the same.

Base skills for these Project Manager needs are as follows:

• 3 years of IT Project Management experience
• Experience working with a central PMO
• PMP preferred
• Traditional, Waterfall or hybrid experience with project management
• Proven ability to successfully manage project plans, RAID Logs, and project communication
• Responsible for applying PMO standards and guidelines to project efforts
• Excels with both written and verbal communication

Candidates will possess experience with delivery of various IT Infrastructure, Security, and Architecture-related projects. Candidates will establish rapport and develop trust within project teams, stakeholders, and customers. Candidates should possess the ability to work with a variety of teams, manage multiple tasks, hold team members accountable, and pivot quickly. MS Office Suite and MS Project experience is required.

Detail oriented, highly organized, task driven individuals will excel in these roles.

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
