Job Description:

The Remedy Developer will demonstrate expertise in the areas of BMC Remedy suite of products. The individual will be the senior Remedy Developer on the project and implement Remedy services for the client. In addition, the individual will guide other technical staff in the areas of installation, configuration and administration of BMC Remedy products.

Responsibilities:

• Plan installation, configuration, development and testing of BMC Remedy
• Test and evaluate enhancements and modifications of Remedy system
• Support external developers in integrating Remedy repository
• Develop customized workflow in accordance with customer and project needs
• Assist with installations, configurations, and customizations of software solutions using the BMC Remedy Action Request System (ARS) platform
• Assist with installations, configurations, and customizations of software solutions using the BMC Remedy IT Service Management ITSM) Applications
• Performs ARS Server and ITSM Applications upgrades and applies patches
• Leverages the software development lifecycle to design, build, test, and implement solutions based on customers' requirements
• Assists in defining user requirements within the Remedy ITSM client applications
• Designs and provides software solutions in ARS ensuring the process flow of the Remedy ITSM modules
• Documents coding changes to be used for test and migration plans
• Troubleshoots software bugs using client and server logging
• Packages coding changes for releases so code to be migrated between the applicable environments, e.g., development, test, training, and production
• Provides the Operations and Maintenance Team system support, as needed
• Performs standard administration system configuration

Requirements: (Clearance/Citizenship)

• Successful completion of HSPD-12 PIV process and BEP background check
• Training courses/certifications in BMC Remedy ARS and ITSM
• ITIL® Foundations and intermediate certifications preferred
• Well versed in the development of Remedy filters, forms and workflow
• Expert Knowledge of BMC Remedy
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of partner products integrated with the Remedy ITSM applications
• Strong understanding of Remedy ITSM's underlying database structure
• Strong database skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience:

• 5+ years of Remedy and IT Development experience
• Experienced at performing the design, testing, installation and integration of Remedy suite
• 1+ years' experience working with IT Software Maintenance applications and Tools
• 2-3 years Software / Application Engineering experience

Education:

• Bachelor's plus 5-7 years relevant experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $84,177.00 - $140,000.00 per year
