The Senior Sales Operations Specialist is a critical partner to the sales organization – delivering analytics, sales tools and insight reporting to support and drive key sales initiatives to foster a high performing sales organization. As a member of the Sales Excellence organization, this role works closely with immediate sales teams and sales leaders within Experian Marketing Services – but also interacts with the executive team, various cross functional departments, and counterparts around the globe to leverage successful operating rhythms and best practices.

Job Description


What you’ll be doing

As part of the Sales Excellence team, the overall goal of the Senior Sales Operations Specialist role is to improve the performance of a B2B sales organization. This person partners closely with sales, marketing and finance and supports a variety of initiatives that support the sales process. The Senior Sales Operations Specialist provides operational and strategic support to a team of Sales Executives. The Specialist is an integral partner to their Sales team and consistently ensures operational excellence and efficiency.

  • Performs day-to-day continual user support to customer facing teams; including troubleshooting issues and application resolution.
  • Primary support for Salesforce related questions/issues including but not limited to reports, dashboards and data quality
  • Ensures consistent and accurate delivery of support functions for Salesforce, Configure Price Quote and other sales process platforms
  • Partners with and trains sales organization to ensure high standards of data quality on salesforce
  • Develop training materials for new hires and continuing education on SF process and best practices
  • Develop and successfully launch process flows to meet department needs
  • Automates reporting and delivers data quality operating rhythms to improve efficiency and accuracy of CRM Data
  • Collaborates with the Salesforce Business Owners, sales organization and user community to support Salesforce strategies, priorities and roadmaps

Qualifications


What your background looks like

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales support/operations or sales role, preferably in B2B sales environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com and Price Quote configuration required
  • Experience with BI tools required, advanced knowledge of Tableau is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills required, including vlookups and pivot tables
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing tech stack is preferred
  • Knowledge of sales principals, sales cycle and process is preferred
  • Superior communication, problem solving, and analytical skills, experience with presenting to management
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects
