The Senior Software Engineer will join an experienced and growing team in the development of software products ranging from motion control to flight simulation. The engineer in this position is expected to have solid experience in software which can be leveraged to identify, estimate, prioritize, and execute programming tasks as well as guide other engineers to do the same. A senior software engineer will strive to assist in providing a positive work environment which fosters continuous improvement through teamwork and challenging tasks.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test software across a spectrum of platforms including embedded, Linux, and Windows desktop
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and vendors to fix and improve products
Maintain a flexible and creative attitude on projects that mix R&D with development towards production ready applications.
Able to digest complicated requirements to make them clear to others.
Stay abreast of current industry and competitive trends in technology.
Follow best practices in use of source control and constructively participate in code reviews.
Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.

Qualification Requirements:

BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
6+ years of experience in a software engineering position preferred.
Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer preferred
Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) and obtain a passport.
This position requires the employee to work in a restricted facility that requires US citizenship
