Job Description Summary: • Execute audit testing assignments, evaluate and communicate test results, clearly document work papers and draft audit issues, and facilitate issue tracking and closure. • Complete all work assigned on a timely basis, and ensure timely completion of key audit milestones. • Support audit scoping and planning by thoroughly researching relevant topics and leading walkthrough meetings with key stakeholders. • Identify opportunities to assist managers and assume responsibility for moderately complex key process areas, including provide assistance and guidance to team members. • Pro-actively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, the business, and respective support areas; work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally and globally. • Maintain a strong understanding of technology systems and related cybersecurity and information security risks. • Demonstrate a working knowledge of programmatic auditing techniques including data analysis or scripting. • Keep current on business/industry changes and their effect on the business, audit plan/approach and risk assessments.

Job Description:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 6 years of technology-related External Audit, Internal Audit or Information Security experience within a large and high growth company that provides financial products and services, and proven experience in evaluating internal controls or compliance programs.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

The successful candidate must possess:

  • Experience in evaluating controls and systems directly related to technology and information security risks.
  • Capacity to manage multiple audit assignments, concisely document work papers, draft audit issues for review by audit management, facilitate issue tracking and validate closure of issues.
  • Ability to thoroughly research technical topics, assist in developing new testing methods and approaches, and lead walkthroughs with auditees.
  • A strong and continually developing understanding of cybersecurity, technology, information security risks.
  • A working knowledge of advanced auditing techniques such as data analysis or scripting.
  • Excellent relationship and communication skills to build internal networks within the team and wider firm, and the ability to clearly articulate business risks and controls.
  • Effective time and project management skills and the ability to successfully execute on multiple projects at one time.
  • A passion for understanding the unique PayPal community, along with a passion for understanding the online payments business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute a range of internal audit activities including planning, testing, and reporting.
  • Research technologies, tools, or industry trends with the objective of developing new testing approaches and methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with audit team members, stakeholders, and auditees.

HIGHLY DESIRED:

  • Big 4 or Financial Services Experience or Regulatory experience.
  • Experience using audit data repository, work paper documentation, risk assessment tools such as AuditBoard.
  • Experience with scripting, programming, or data analysis tools including Python, R, SQL, Arbutus Analyzer, ACL, BASH, etc.
  • Experience with technology and cybersecurity-related frameworks such as NIST, COBiT, PCI, CSA, etc.

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $52800 to $136510
