Job description
We are a small CPA firm in Jericho NY seeking a full-time seasoned Tax Accountant to join our staff to work with the partners to service our clients. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years recent public accounting and tax experience.
Responsibilites include :
- Tax return preparation for individuals, partnerships,corporations, and estates/trusts using Lacerte software.
- Prepare payroll and sales tax returns as well as other tax filings throughout the year.
- Prepare accounting write -ups using Quickbooks
- Resolve tax notices and other issues with government agencies
SKILLS and Qualifications:
- CPA license
- Current on latest tax practices and changes in tax laws
- Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient with Quickbooks , Lacerte, Excel
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $70,000.00 per year
