We’re looking for a Staff Business Systems Analyst to join Procore’s Talent Technology (HRIS) Team. In this role, you’ll oversee our payroll systems by advocating for optimization of Workday payroll processes, configuring Workday Payroll modules and advocating for a scalable tech stack that can meet current and future demands.

As a Staff Business Systems Analyst, you’ll partner with Procore's Global Payroll team to identify system improvements, clarify requirements and implement these designs successfully. Use your consulting, project management and technical abilities to drive positive improvements to the way payroll administrators and employees experience payroll processes. This position reports into Jonathan Sireci - Director, Business Systems (HR) and will be remote. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Implement, support, and upgrade Procore’s US payroll applications.

  • Provide system administration support by configuring applications to align with business requirements and IT standards.

  • Triage and resolve escalated payroll support requests from Payroll.

  • Gather business requirements by collaborating with various stakeholders and analyze customer needs.

  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans for systems.

  • Monitors system health metrics and triages system alerts.

  • Work with the business and vendors to coordinate integrations with internal and external systems.

  • Assist with the evaluation of new processes and tools to address customer and/or business unit needs or improve efficiencies.

  • Create and maintain support and technical and process documentation.

  • Support international payroll configurations that have Workday dependencies.

  • Create and advocate for a scalable Payroll tech stack that can meet future demands.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • 3+ years technical payroll experience.

  • 3+ years of Workday Payroll configuration experience (design, configuration, testing, reporting).

  • 3+ experience configuring Workday year end activities.

  • SOX compliance experience/experience with a publicly traded company is a plus.

  • Ability to lead integration efforts supporting end-to-end business processes across the payroll.

  • Problem solver with the skills to implement solutions in multiple recruiting systems.

  • Collaborator and communicator who can work across teams to deliver value.


Additional Information

Base Pay Range $109,200-$150,150Incentive Compensation: Bonus EligibleProcore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
