If you are a clinician with a passion for teaching, join our facility as the Staff Development Coordinator (RN or LPN) where you will function as a practitioner, consultant, educator and facilitator for all nursing staff focused on licensed nursing and certified nursing assistant (CNA) orientation, nurse education, competencies evaluation and maintenance, infection control (including employee health), and clinical Point Click Care (PCC) implementation. Identification of staff learning needs followed by implementation and evaluation of program effectiveness is a key responsibility of this position.
Position Highlights
Report to the Director of Nursing
The Staff Development Coordinator (RN or LPN) Develops education programs in response to staff needs and teaches staff current accepted patient care and center practices.
The Staff Development Coordinator (RN or LPN) Supervises and monitor new nursing employees throughout their individualized orientation period.
The Staff Development Coordinator (RN or LPN) Performs annual competency testing and evaluation and clinically appraise nursing staff performance to identify areas for education.
The Staff Development Coordinator (RN or LPN) Provides oversight to Employee Health Program to include administering and tracking of tuberculosis and hepatitis vaccine and tracking of influenza immunizations for all employees as well as COVID-19 Vaccines.
The Staff Development Coordinator (RN or LPN) serves as the facilities Infection Preventionist Nurse, overseeing the facilities Infection Control program.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
