Full Time Days / Monday-Friday
The Staffing Specialist is responsible for preparing staff schedules and assist with the coordination of daily staffing in cooperation with the Unit Directors and Executive Director Nursing Services.
JOB DUTIES – System Administrator for staffing program and end user support and management for API Staffing and Scheduling. Prepares schedules for the new time frame. Schedules benefit/class time. Assist and monitor staff entering schedules into the Scheduling system. Monitor user education in scheduling system. Maintain all administrative database records. Assist Nursing Office with clerical duties which include: typing, filing, posting memos, distributing mail, answering telephone and relaying messages, receiving and recording call-ins, assists in review and edit of time and attendance in API Staffing and Scheduling, and utilizes a variety of office equipment. Follows Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITY –Completion of high school or G.E.D. is required.
A minimum of (1) year experience on a general nursing unit (or previous scheduling experience) is preferred.
