Job description
PREMIER HOCKEY FEDERATION:
At the PHF, we are passionate about building and sustaining a premier league that allows elite athletes to compete professionally and earn a living wage playing ice hockey. Our league is rooted in bold and unprecedented advancements within the women’s professional ice hockey landscape. The PHF was the first to commit to paying players at the professional level and have grown that financial commitment to include a $25 million dollar commitment from the Board of Governors in direct payment and benefits to PHF players over the next three years. Other trailblazing efforts include being the first women’s professional ice hockey league to broadcast an entire season of games and to provide medical coverage to all players in the league. Our actions match our dedication to building and running a league that is designed to support players while creating a source of entertainment for hockey fans outside of the pinnacle Olympic moments in our sport. Earning the title of being the best home for women’s professional ice hockey is a daily commitment!
The National Women’s Hockey League (established in 2015) was rebranded to become the Premier Hockey Federation in 2021. This change embraced the “No labels, No Limits” mentality. In 2022, the PHF announced a $25 million dollar investment dedicated to sustaining growth, healthcare, salaries, and resources. Players in this league include rising stars who recently graduated from top Division 1 NCAA programs and veteran players with Olympic and extensive National Team experience. The league is made up of seven teams- Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale, Metropolitan Riveters, Minnesota Whitecaps, the Toronto Six, and the Montreal Force- who compete annually for the Isobel Cup Championship.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an organized individual who is knowledgeable about statistics management and eager to advance their career in the sports industry by joining our efforts to make the PHF an industry leader in the women’s professional sports space. The opportunity before us is to create and develop a new roadmap that meets the moment and illustrates what a successful professional women’s sports league looks like in this exciting time in our sport!
