Your Responsibilities:

We are looking for a duo to join our team in Bethel as a Bush Order Manager and a Closing Supervisor. As the Store Support Duo, you assist the Store Manager by serving and satisfying customer needs, utilizing the overall product and store knowledge to include merchandise preparation, stock, and present, sell merchandise, and cashier.

As the Bush Order Manager:
  • Canvas all business in the market area in person and by phone to develop sales from current and prospective customers
  • Build and maintain a network of businesses to increase sales
  • Assist businesses with merchandising ideas and special orders; offer new products, promote monthly sales
  • Continuously report on market activities
  • Work with the Store Manager to prevent out-of-stock on merchandise offered to business customers
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, email, and in-person
  • Maintain records of sales calls
  • Track sales increases/decreases for analysis; formulate plans to continue increases
  • Review outstanding accounts receivable with Administration and assist with the collection of monies owed
  • Perform any tasks assigned by the Store Manager
  • Promote community relations to the community at large
As the Closing Supervisor:
  • Provide excellent customer service by delivering on the Value Offer
  • Focus on customer service as a top priority by creating strong customer relationships and providing excellent customer service
  • Protect company assets: maintain and control inventories and shrink
  • Ensure that the daily operating disciplines, as described in the AC Way Manual are consistently met
  • Maintain and monitor the condition of displays, sales floor, equipment, work, and stock areas to meet or exceed company standards and ensure customer and employee safety
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations that impact our daily business operations in the areas of Tobacco, Liquor, Ammunition, and Food Handling
  • Oversee office accountabilities and office clerk
  • Provide supervision of financial services and supervise the office clerk on daily operating disciplines and reports going to the head office
  • Participate as a key member of the store team, providing leadership to the store team and support to the Store Manager
  • Through ongoing communication keep staff current with key activities
  • Provide customers and employees with a shopping and working environment that is clean, neat, and organized
  • Present product with knowledge and positivity
  • Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager
Skills and Qualifications:

Bush Order Manager:
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education and retail experience required
  • Previous sales, retail or hospitality experience a must; must be able to sell and make appropriate recommendations to customers
  • Intermediate knowledge and ability using MS Office 2007 and above
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Basic math and reading skills are a must
  • Able to work well on their own or within a team
  • Self-motivated to work quickly and efficiently to complete the entire task within time limits
  • Able to correctly manage time to meet deadlines and targets
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new working environments, situations, and cultures
  • Detailed knowledge of various areas of location a plus
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
Closing Supervisor:
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Record of the bottom line and sales results in previous roles
  • 3+ years of management experience in retail preferred
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions both verbally and orally
  • Computer knowledge of Excel and Outlook
  • Strong knowledge or retail operating principles
  • Customer driven
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to pass a drug test to be eligible for hire and any subsequent drug tests requested by company management
  • Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in varying conditions from heat to cool
  • Fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, shifts, and days including morning to evening, weekends, overnights, and public holidays
  • Ability to lift and or move 50lbs. regularly
