Position Description:
Equitable Education Solutions (EES) is seeking an innovative full-time Strategic Planning and Innovation Specialist to join our team and partner with districts and schools. The ideal candidate has experience and expertise in the following areas:
- Designing, developing, and delivering evidence based educational training programs and workshops
- Analyzing curriculum, assessment, student data, and teacher performances to establish goals and implement strategies
- Gathering information from educators, students, parents, and community stakeholders
- Closely examining academic systems and developing initiatives related to district wide educational outcomes
- Assessing local and state education programs and designing and developing programs and resources as appropriate
- Indiana Employability Skills
- Indiana Graduation Pathways
- Special Education Administrative experience
- Develop and lead special education systems and programs
Disposition, Skills and Abilities Required
- A Master’s degree or Ph.D in education or related field
- Administrative experience
- 5 years minimum teaching experience
- Analytical ability to develop plans of action to address district goals
- Knowledge and understanding of needs assessment principles, processes, and techniques
- Knowledge of federal and state special education law and professional standards
- Knowledge and understanding of highly impactful instructional practices
- Ability to develop and present educational programs or workshops
- Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively and work productively with all levels of district staff, students, and the general public
- Exemplary organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Indiana resident
This position is a part of the Strategic Planning and Innovation Team, which is composed of dedicated and passionate educators working to make a positive impact on student and teacher success.
This job requires remote virtual work as well as travel to/from schools around Indiana. A personal vehicle is required and mileage is reimbursed. Salary is flexible but will be commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
