A client of insight global is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support the Construction and Facilities indirect spend category. This managerial role will be responsible for the development and execution of sourcing for construction, renovation, remodeling, refurbishment, upgrading, and capital project implementation across Facilities, Studios, and Corporate Offices within the company’s comprehensive portfolio of operating locations. Primary responsibilities will include leading competitive bidding processes, project management, analyze competitive bidding proposals, and recommend new sourcing strategies. Expected results include, development and execution of project management events related to cost savings and process improvement, outstanding internal customer service, and execution to goals. Equally important is the ability to identify, analyze, and quantify opportunities, lead and/or support RFPs, and manage vendor negotiations. They are looking for someone who is a go getter and will hit the ground running!

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in sourcing for facilities
• Experience managing professional services procurement projects between 100-300k
• Experience leveraging e-Business tools, spend data, and all other tools/resources available to identify actionable cost-saving opportunities within spend categories
• Bidding and supplier negotiating experience
• Strong excel skills - ability to analyze spreadsheets side by side and provide analysis
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or Supply Chain

Plusses:

• Prior Ariba experience and reporting tool experience (Tableau or SpendHQ)
• MBA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
