LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking to employ a STTS MSN Support Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Location: Looking to hire talent to work at Hurlburt Field, Florida.

Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, accountability, and management of the following vehicles and equipment: MRZR-A, MRZR-4D, Christini CH450 Dirt bike, Kawasaki KLX 250 Dirt bike, Kawasaki KLX 110 Dirt bike, Polaris 850, ATV , HMMWV, LMTV, GSA Trucks and Vans , 2 Post Lift, Overhead Crane, ATV Lift, Dirt Bike lift

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, accountability, and management of all 24 STTS assigned vehicles and equipment. Vehicles and equipment include: MRZR-A; MRZR-4D; Christini CH450 Dirt bike; Kawasaki KLX-250 Dirt bike; Kawasaki KLX 110 Dirt Bike; Polaaris 850 ATV; HMMWV; LMTV; GSA trucks and vans; 2 Post Lift; Overhead Crane; ATV Lift; Dirt Bike Lift; GMV 1; and any future assigned equipment.
• Individual shall perform in depth equipment checks, provide detailed maintenance, repair or disposal records; utilize an Equipment Accountability Database or spreadsheet to track usage and maintenance costs and time; and perform inspections and preventative maintenance as required.
• Possess working knowledge of safety regulations and submit reports as required.
• Assist STTS personnel in the development and drafting of motorized training guidance, directives, and regulations.
• Utilize required security and safety practices and procedures. Wears protective safety equipment and clothing when appropriate and required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a 7 Level in the USAF (AFSC 2T371) or sister service Vehicle Management career field.
• Applicants must be SSAVIE certified (parts ordering.)
• Maintenance Certification is REQUIRED on: Polaris MRZR; Polaris ATV; LMTV; and HMMWV
• Individual must obtain GOV driver's license to operate government vehicles and equipment (including forklifts).

Preferred Skills

• SOF/Special Warfare or Rescue experience is preferred.
• Must be certified on the following:
  • Special Operations Forces: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Vehicle Maintenance: 5 years (Required)

Physical Demands

• Be physically able to operate unit’s vehicle fleet
