Student Aide/Orientation Leader - Center for New Students and Orientation
Job description
- Answers telephone, takes and distributes messages, and provides information as appropriate.
- Schedules appointments in scheduling software to facilitate access to advising and orientation appointments in the student portal.
- Delivers individual and group orientation presentations.
- Guides students on virtual and/or in-person college and My Harper portal tours.
- Assists with call campaigns
Education Requirements: In order to apply for this position, you must be a current Harper College student, enrolled in at least six credits per semester (three for summer)
Experience Requirements: A successful candidate must be able to maintain confidentially of the department. Prior customer service or office experience is preferred.
Schedule Information: Will determine schedule based on student's availability. Must have some availability to work during the following hours:
Sunday
Monday
8 am - 7 pm
Tuesday
8 am - 7 pm
Wednesday
8 am - 7 pm
Thursday
8 am - 7 pm
Friday
8 am - 7 pm
Saturday
8 am - 12 pm (Only for Final Registration week)
Maximum hours per week: 20
