Reporting to the Administrative Deans, responsibilities include providing safety and security protection for members of the Greater Lawrence Technical community, school property and ensuring compliance with the department's regulations, state and federal laws and the student code of conduct. .Essential Functions: The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if work is similar, related or a logical assignment to the position. *Works with the Administrative Dean in the Peer Mediation Program.*Monitor, control and direct the flow of traffic on and off campus as well as the student and faculty parking lots.*Direct visitors to the designated parking area and instruct them to report to the security desk to check-in and receive proper security passes.*Notify the Student Discipline Office of students leaving campus without proper authorization, student behavioral concerns, vehicle violations and suspicious circumstances.*Notify the Assistant Principal when local public safety officials are on school property.*Supervise hallways, bathrooms and the school cafeteria or other areas as assigned.*Enforce the rules and regulations as outlined in the Student Handbook as well as the rules for student behavior as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.*Enforce the security procedures established by the district.*Enforce the No Smoking Law.*Any other duties as required.colinoncars.com is the go-to platform for job seekers looking for the best job postings from around the web.
