Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or possession of a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) certificate.
- Three (3) years of progressively more responsible experience, two (2) years of which shall have been at the office assistant level or above.
- Knowledge of office procedures and database management methods and practices related to student information including confidentiality requirements.
- Knowledge of Division regulations, policies, procedures, and processes focused on school enrollment and student records maintenance.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, county, state, and federal laws and regulations related to assigned office.
- Skill in business English, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Skill in organization, identifying work flow efficiencies, and improving processes.
- Ability to multitask, work in a busy office environment, and apply time-management skills.
- Ability to process automated data, maintain data files, retrieve information, and produce reports.
- Ability to maintain data files and employ detail-orientated skills in entering and auditing student data.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, students, and families.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
