Position Summary
Provides admissions, registration, academic record and other information to students, faculty and the general public.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Refers individuals to the appropriate CNM resources; and explains and interprets CNM information by telephone, in person and on-line.
- Performs general office duties, which includes data entry and retrieval, manual and electronic processing, answering telephones and other clerical duties.
- Performs other related duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
- Employees are required to comply with safety regulations, procedures, protocols, OSHA standards, and wear personal protective gear if required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of related experience.
Preferences
- Bilingual/Multilingual (verbal and written) with Spanish/English preferred.
- Recent experience reviewing and processing various admission applications, course enrollments, and related records applications.
- Recent experience using multiple software systems and/or databases to process and perform job duties.
- Experience relating to and interacting with a non-traditional and diverse student and employee population.
- Prior data entry experience with an average typing speed of 40 words per minute with accuracy.
Employees will be required to work occasional Saturdays during peak enrollment periods. Spanish speaking a plus.
