GENERAL FUNCTION AND JOB DUTIES
General Function
To assist in managing the technology and reporting aspects of Student Affairs in support of the one-college model. This individual will maintain Navigator and Advisor assignments, and manage Watermark roles and access. This individual will also assist the Student Information Systems Specialist with reporting and record/maintenance.
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assists with the administration of Watermark, to include: serving as a system administrator, providing appropriate faculty and staff access, running reports and completing audits.
2. Develops, implements, and maintains a process for equitable distribution of student assignments to Navigators and Advisors.
3. Maintains Watermark access to ensure appropriate and timely access and protection of student data.
4. Uses data to inform practices within the broader one-college advising model.
5. Assists in the testing of student system patches and system revisions.
6. Assists with the Comprehensive Curriculum Student report.
7. Assists with the reset of student types.
8. Provides data analyses to support the assessment of the student experience model.
9. Creates, develops and helps to manage Informer reports and analyze data.
10. Performs other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Characteristics
Detailed knowledge of college processes relating to students
Familiarity with student services offered by the college
Intimate knowledge of FERPA law (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act)
Ability to provide consistently high quality customer service
Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work productively with many different case management teams for individual students
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
Modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment
Knowledge of standard office procedures and equipment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and two years’ experience working in higher education

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary for this position is $47,817 - $60,968. Pay grade for this position is L. Initial placement for new employees is customarily at entry level through 25% percentile. Contract type is Professional. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include off-shift hours, evening and weekend assignments may be required of any position. All positions are subject to budget approval.
