Job Title: Submittal Coordinator

Reports to: Project Manager

Salary Range: $34.00-45.00 DOE

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Overtime – as required to meet the project requirements.

Job Duties:

The Submittal Coordinator is responsible for the development of preconstruction documentation, project submittals and transmittals, project turnover documentation, record keeping and retention, warranty administration, and project closeout.

Qualifications:

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong computer skills required.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products.

· Ability to review, submit, and maintain submittals and submittal logs.

· Ability to review, submit, and maintain submittals and purchase order logs.

· Assists multiple project managers with the submittal process in accordance with specifications.

· Assists multiple project managers with document creation and review, and other tasks as assigned.

· Complete purchase requisitions for materials

· Ability to oversee and manage project closeout to completion.

· Attend progress meetings as necessary.

· Become familiar with project logistics and requirements.

Experience:

· Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Project Engineer, Submittals Coordinator, or Assistant Project Manager OR degree in Engineering or Contract Management and two (2) years’ experience in industrial construction.

· Experience in industrial construction, preferred.

Education:

· High school diploma or GED Required

· Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, preferred.

Required License: Must possess and maintain a current and satisfactory driving record. No reckless driving and DUI within the last 7 years. No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34.00 - $45.00 per hour
