Position Summary / Job Duties

Individual will be required to work as a subsurface utility field technician safely and efficiently locating underground utility infrastructure. Work duties are 90% outdoors with exposure to all weather elements (sun, cold, wind), vehicle traffic, varying environmental noise & mechanical equipment.

• Proficient use of various electromagnetic detection instruments and ground penetrating radar to designate / map underground utilities.
• Able to review and understanding engineering plans.
• Experienced in operating vacuum excavation truck a plus.

Qualifications / Required Training, Experience, Education and/or Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience designating / mapping underground utilities.

· High School diploma or GED

· Must be able to lift equipment or materials up to 50 pounds

· A valid driver’s license is required

· Must be able to obtain access to federal facilities.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
