Join the Sky Zone team for an action packed summer. We're looking for a dynamic person to run our Sky Camp for the 2020 summer. Sky Camp will be for 9 weeks and is for children 5 - 12 years old. Under the direction of the Camp Director, the Summer Camp Assistant will oversee and manage the daily activities of our camp including:
Daily Activities:
- Follow all Sky Camp standards outlined in the Camp Manual
- Supervise all aspects of the camp day
- Assist with registration and the completion of camp forms
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with camp counselors and Sky Zone staff
- Maintain a safe and positive environment
- Guide campers in participating in all activities planned for the day while staying on schedule
- Prepare for, supervise and manage arts, crafts and science projects
- Order and serve lunch
- Engage in games and activities with campers
- Set a good example for counselors and campers by being a team player, punctuality, cleanliness, good sportsmanship and sharing clean up duties
- Maintain a good public relations with parents/guardians of campers
- Drive campers on the Sky Bus to planned field trips
A successful Summer Camp Assistant will have:
- Experience working with children in a structured environment
- Desire and ability to work with children
- Strong leadership and supervisor skills
- Ability to lead and teach activities
- Good integrity, character, attitude and adaptability
- Enthusiasm, patience, a sense of humor and self control
Compensation:
$15+/hour based on experience
