Supervising Behavioral Support Specialist

Up to $21.50/hour

Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts Available, Mercer County, NJ

Who We Need:

We are looking for highly motivated, energetic Behavioral Direct Care Staff to work with higher tiered behavioral consumers. Applicants will work directly with a variety of behavioral health professionals, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Licensed Counselors, Licensed Nurses, and Psychiatric Care Providers. This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates, college students, and experienced behavior technicians interested in furthering their careers. The Arc provides continuing education, and strong supervision, and supports employees creating a path to reach their professional goals.

What We Need:

• RBT certification is required for this position
• Experience working with behavioral clients and willingness to participate in the agency's ongoing Applied Behavioral Training Program
• Assisting with developing treatment strategies, as well as daily living; cooking, cleaning, activities and community involvement, and personal hygiene
• Administer medications and complete appropriate documentation
• Accompany individuals to and from various appointments.

What You Need:

• High School Diploma/GED with 1+ years of behavioral health experience
• Valid driver's license (less than 3 suspensions and/or points in the past 3 years)
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Under NJ Executive order #283 must be vaccinated against COVID-19, with booster shots (based on CDC eligibility) and provide proof of vaccination.
