The Supervisor of Accounts Receivable Services, Quality Assurance is responsible for the daily revenue cycle activity for Billing, AR follow up and Denial Management.

• Resolve account and departmental issues that require escalation by front line staff.
• Ensure Quality Assurance standards are met by all team member
• Notify management of issues or potential issues that may impede claim submission and cash collection efforts.
• Serve as resource for staff and individuals from other departments in areas of responsibility.
• Provide training and set up assistance on various systems used within the department.
• Identify denial trends provide suggested corrective action plan.
• Review and complete end of month reporting required for senior leadership.
• Run weekly productivity reports to determine trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide coaching/additional training as needed to staff.
• Knowledge expert for the team – resolve Payor issues, answer questions, provide guidance as needed.
• Exhibits technical aptitude and basic to moderate experience with different analytics tools.
• Use, protect and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards

• 6-8 Years of Revenue Cycle experience; and hospital operations and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel including Pivot tables and reporting.
• Knowledge of PowerPoint and utilizing excel data to create reports for upper management.
• Analytical skills necessary to analyze business problems and apply technology to resolve issues and/or increase operational efficiency of the Revenue Cycle process.
• Ability to interact with all levels of the team in a large organization.
• Experience with hospital account reconciliations, reimbursement methodologies, and denial resolution.
• Skilled at managing multiple projects with various customers and grasp new concepts.
• CPC Certification preferred.
• College degree preferred.
