Provides day-to-day leadership and oversight of specified Community Health operations including benefits navigation. Leverages the Centura Health mission to promote community health initiatives by providing operational leadership of functional work teams. Responsible for ensuring processes are completed in timely, efficient, and compliant manner ensuring quality customer service and accurate processing. Collaborates with community health leaders to identify opportunities for improved processes and client access.
Bachelors (required) Public health, nutrition, public administration, healthcare administration, nursing, community health, health education or related field.
Three years customer service and/or supervisory experience.- Two years project management experience required.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and directing the work of technicians.
- Medical office experience with insurance procedures and client interaction desired.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite, capable of mastering new applications, systems and workflows
efficiently. - Effective communication and problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Public and/or community health and research experience preferred.
- Experience with grants, project evaluation, community engagement are a plus.
- Experience managing internal and external partnerships effectively
“This position is time limited due to being grant funded, but is fully benefited. It is currently funded until June 2024 with an opportunity for extension. The projects managed are a produce prescription pilot for patients and an employer-based sliding scale farm share program for employees.”
