Job description
Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area, ensuring all employees are trained as required. Verifies facility is prepared for service as required.
May schedule and train staff to ensure they are knowledgeable of the requirements and application of the Performance Work Statement.
Monitors safety aspects relating to facility, equipment, and personnel; taking corrective educational actions as required.
Ensures the highest level of customer service is consistently provided.
Schedules tasks to ensure facility sanitation standards comply with the
Performance Work Statement and USDA Food Code and base Public Health regulations.
Professional conduct in accordance with WSC policy.
Perform other job related duties as required by Supervisor.
Accompanies and assists government representatives during inspection or review of contract operations.
Two years supervisory experience in a facility serving cafeteria style meals preferred.
High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
Must have knowledge in food handling and sanitation standards.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Must be able to comprehend, understand and demonstrate abilities in interpreting Performance Work Statements, Collective Bargaining Agreements and WSC Policies.
Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in workloads and working
conditions and ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
Must be able to pass ServSafe food handlers course.
Ability to lift 25 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally. Must be able to pass a company drug test and an Air Force Background Check.
