• Manage human resources standards for overall aspects of volunteer services including; recruitment, application process, interviewing and screening, placement, training, supervision, evaluations, disciplinary action and motivation, recognition and retention.
• Serves as the liaison between department needs and organization needs.
• Oversight responsibility of department’s volunteers and additional staff as required. Participate in hiring and operational decisions for the department.
• Conduct regular meetings with volunteers and department leaders to collaborate about ongoing needs or concerns.
• Orient volunteers to increase their understanding of the organization, its clients, its services and the role and responsibilities of volunteers including on-going annual health and competency compliance.
• Monitor and manage within an established budget.
• Collaborate with other local facilities and groups to encourage community awareness and participation.
• Maintain accurate records and volunteer data in established database.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of experience
• Experience: 2 years experience
