Title: Supplier Quality Assurance Consultant
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Round Lake, IL

Prefer ability to occasionally be onsite in Round Lake but not a requirement. Will primarily be remote. If not possible to have them in the northern Illinois area we prefer US-based in Central or Eastern time zones.

Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtain and review Supplier requirement documentation for accuracy and compliance to procedures by working with client employees and suppliers as needed.
• Utilize the Global Supplier Quality Trackwise System for creation of supplier records, maintaining supplier quality records and uploading New Supplier requirements.
• Frequent interaction with client suppliers and team members

Qualifications:

• Project management skills, specifically ability to manage and organize data.
• Time-management skills
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Good communication, coordination and ability to interact with a team
• Attention to details and a passion for quality
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or medical device regulations, e.g., ISO 13485, FDA cGMP, MDD, Eudralex, other global or regional equivalent a plus

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences, business or other technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer candidate with 1 – 3 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical or medical device industry.
• Experience with data entry and reporting using basic Excel and electronic databases (Trackwise)

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Quality assurance: 2 years (Preferred)
• ISO 13485, FDA cGMP, MDD: 1 year (Preferred)
• Trackwise: 1 year (Preferred)
• medical device or Pharmaceutical: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Six Sigma Certification (Preferred)
