Responsibilities:- Act as a key support between purchasing teams and Sales team to monitor assigned customers proactively and consistently. Follow-up on suggested changes to ensure timely execution in operating systems. Maintain records for current sales support functions as well as new initiatives.
- National Accounts:
- Review historical sales trends, promotional events, and projections with a key focus on avoidance of out of stock and over stock levels to support forecast results
- Detailed analysis with existing reports to identify opportunities to increase efficiency
- Communicate actionable suggestions to Buying and Sales teams based on weekly reviews
- Create ad-hoc reports to support changes
- Maintain all necessary tracking logs to support Buying and Sales teams
- Provide analytical support for Seasonal shifts to key accounts for forecast initiative
- Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline preferred
- Inventory management or supply chain related experience preferred
- Strong communication skills: Speaks and writes clearly and effectively. Uses effective communication in order to initiate timely responses to inquiries.
- Strong organizational skills: Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritize and have a sense of urgency to follow up on open issues and drive toward closure.
- Collaborative approach: Able to build effective relationships with our purchasing team and other business partners.
- Problem solving skills: Able to think quickly and use logic to solve problems thoroughly and efficiently.
- Computer literacy: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
