Job description

· Act as technical liaison between Supply Chain and Design/Manufacturing/Quality Engineering disciplines to solve problems and promote efficiencies at downstream suppliers

· Drive business insights through active mining of operations and financial data.

· Assist in periodic reporting requirements related to KPI’s, Customer Requirements, and Regulatory Reporting (i.e. Conflict Minerals).

· Assist in special projects related to acquisitions, New Product Development, and assembly level outsourcing activities

· Develop/modify departmental SOP's and practices across the various Supply Chain disciplines (inventory management, purchasing, planning, shipping).

· Analyze current procedures to identify and implement process improvements to address current or potential concerns and opportunities

· Work direct with Supply Partners to implement corrective actions, process improvements, and successful outsourcing projects

· Interface with Purchasing team to develop costed BOM estimates for new customer opportunities

· Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering discipline

· Some level of Business background is preferred (Minor, Associate’s, or related on-the-job experience)

· Self starter with an ability to work autonomously to identify and lead one’s own projects

· Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives while maintaining a strong sense of urgency

· Must have good hands-on technical background working directly with product as well as an analytical mindset and ability to use data to guide decision making

· Ability to work with Engineering Technical Data (ie. Reading and interpreting drawings, 3D models, and test procedures.

· Strong ability in excel, and basic knowledge of ERP systems

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High energy level, comfortable with multi-tasking.
  • Must be well-organized, flexible and able to work in a fast paced office environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Read/Write Fluently in English
  • MS Office Suite including; Outlook, Excel, Access, and MSWord.
  • Sustained dependable attendance.
  • Cooperation with others in team environment for cross training and conference on operational issues.
  • Initiative in learning and changing work methods to accomplish assigned tasks on a timely basis.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Position located in an office environment, with exposure to the manufacturing floor when needed.
  • Occasional business related travel, valid driver’s license.
  • Regularly required to sit for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
